Meet the Stars teaching team

Cathy gained her degree in Creative and Performing Arts in 1989 and qualified in teaching Drama in 1992. She undertook Speech and Drama training with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art from an early age.     

She has worked as a professional actress with a variety of Theatre Companies and has experience in teaching speech and drama  spanning over 30 years. Cathy set up Stars Drama Academy in 2007 and produces and directs the shows, running the weekly classes with the help of a dedicated staff team.

Sue is the former Head of Infants at Greenbank School. She supports the children throughout their time at Stars, particularly the infants with whom she has such extensive experience with. She also stage manages our productions and co-ordinates prop making, scenery and costume.
